This is a great, easy recipe to make. Looking to meal prep? I highly suggest this! I personally like to mix in a little hoisin sauce! Try it out and let us know what you think!
What you need:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion finely chopped
8oz of ground beef
1 cup small broccoli florets
1/4 cup beef broth
1/2/ teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup cooked barley
- In large pan, heat olive oil. Add the onion and ground beef and cook, crumbling beef with spoon until brown. About 6 min.
- Add the broccoli. Cook, stirring occasionally, until soft. About 5 minutes.
- Add the beef broth, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and barley. Simmer for 4 min.
Thats it! Super easy! You can add any extra vegetables you would like but I like to keep it simple.
